1996-1999

Julian Miligan appointed Managing Director. Company founder Ernest Miligan retains an active interest in the business and also continues as a non-operational Director.

 

1997

First batch of expansion via organic growth. Kellaway opens Lockleaze depot (pictured top right). This branch plays a key part in future expansion plans, doubling as the distribution centre for the company.

First crane vehicle added to delivery fleet.

 

 

1998

Further growth follows with the acquisition of Newland Builders Merchants in Fishponds serving the north eastern edge of Bristol.

1999

A freephone orderline is connected directly to the branch, ensuring that orders are placed quickly at no expense to our customers.

Smaller Mercedes trucks added to the delivery fleet.
