Kellaway Bathrooms formed in March – a separate business trading on Kellaway Avenue opposite the Horfield branch.

bathroomsAimed at retail customers, this business benefits from a key location and comprehensive showroom. Although run separately from Kellaway Building Supplies, it applies the same standards of dedicated customer service consequently building an excellent reputation.

 

 

 

2001

August - Acquisistion of Tamwood Timber Merchants at Stonehouse. In addition to general building supplies Stonehouse boasts a ready mixed concrete plant along with a fully equipped timber mill enabling us to produce all sizes and styles of timber. Stonehouse yard pictured right.

2002

December - New branch opened at Ashton, Bristol, serving the city south of the river – a key area for developing new markets of our business.

2003

August - Acquisition of Harveys Sand and Gravel in Swindon, giving us our first outlet in Wiltshire. Specialising in landscaping materials, this business has been expanded to include general building supplies.

Below - Kellaway at Swindon - remained trading as Harveys when acquired in 2003.

Kellaway Building Supplies at Swindon

The Swindon business was run with dual branding of Harveys/Kellaway to establish the Kellaway name until 2005 when the Harveys name was discontinued. The branch retained a number of experienced staff who had worked with Harveys.

September - First Kellaway Family Funday held for employees and their families in September 2003.

 

2004

First vehicles with mini hiab cranes added to delivery fleet such as Mitsubishi Canter.
