How to get there
From M5/M4
Either
Travelling east or west on M4, join the M5 southbound at J20, and exit M5 at J18, following signs for Avonmouth, Bristol and Airport (A4).
Or
Travelling north or south on M5, exit at J18 following signs for Avonmouth, Bristol and Airport (A4).
You will follow the Airport signs all the way to the Ashton Branch.
After leaving the motorway, follow the A4 (Bristol and Airport) for several miles (watch out for speed camera by park and ride), eventually passing under the Clifton Suspension Bridge, with the river on your right.
When the road splits into two lanes, take the right hand lane direction South West, which will take you over the river via the Swing Bridge. (If you are diverted because the bridge is being swung, follow signs for Airport which will take you to just before**).
Once past the traffic lights at the far side of the swing bridge, get in left hand lane – marked A38 Taunton
Stay in left hand lane, following signs for Taunton, Bath and Airport (also Bristol City FC) and branch off left.
**Go past the Mercedes showroom on left, through traffic lights and straight on at the roundabout (football stadium on left), straight on at next two traffic islands. You are on Winterstoke Road.
Look for Alphabet Zoo on left and turn immediately into Luckwell Road. Kellaway Building Supplies is approx 50 yards on the left.
