Casual / Temporary Yard and Warehouse Operative – Worcester Branch

This is a casual / temporary position with the potential to become a permanent addition to the team. 

Pay £11.44 per hour

Hours worked between:

  • Monday to Friday between 7:30am and 5:00pm
  • Saturdays: 8.00am to 12.00noon

Main tasks:

  • Serving customers with general building product
  • Loading and unloading vehicles
  • Stock control, waste management and yard security
  • Yard housekeeping and organisation
  • Working together with other branch staff to proactively create a safe working environment.
  • Picking orders and loading company vehicles ready for delivery
  • Moving and arranging stock both manually and using mechanical lifting equipment
  • Rotating stock and assist with yard merchandising

Main requirements of job:

  • Good customer service skills
  • Counterbalance forklift licence desirable - training available
  • Knowledge of building products desirable
  • Ability to work on own initiative or as part of a team
  • Health and safety awareness
