Operations Supervisor – Lockleaze Branch

Salary £28,080.00 plus overtime, bonus and benefits

Hours:

  • Basic 45 hours worked
  • Monday to Friday hours between 7:30am and 5:00pm
  • Saturdays on a rota basis 8.00am to 12.00noon with paid overtime
  • Some Bank Holidays on a rota
  • Stocktake weekend

Main purpose of job:

  • Supervision of the distribution and control of the yard and warehouse stock; ensure compliance with all health and safety procedures including overseeing yard team to ensure
  • Ensure good quality of service to customers, suppliers and colleagues.
  • To lead and manage the yard staff through effective delegation
  • Suppliers vehicles to be unloaded quickly, safely and without any damage
  • Ensure all vehicles are loaded efficiently and correct
  • Ensure stock management and rotation
  • Maintain plant and machinery
  • Ensure Health and Safety is adhered to at all times
  • Ensure security within the yard is of a high standard

  • Basic product knowledge
  • Counterbalance forklift experience
