Add beautiful colours to your garden with Cuprinol Garden Shades, which has been specially developed to colour, protect and weatherproof sheds, fences, garden furniture and other garden wood for up to 6 years. Its special pigments ensure a richer colour and allow the natural texture of the woodgrain to shine through. It can also be applied on terracotta,brick and stone. Colours are easy to choose by combining nature's neutrals (greys, and muted greens, browns and blues) which are best suited for bigger items in the garden and nature's brights (yellows, pinks, purples and brigther greens and blues) ideal for smaller items in the garden. • Coverage: Smooth planed wood -Brush 10-12m2 per litre, Spray 4-5m2 per litre. Rough sawn wood - Brush 3-5m2 per litre, Spray 2-3m2 per litre • Number of Coats: 2 coats • Drying Time: Touch dry in 1 hour under dry weather conditions. On areas subject to wear such as garden furniture allow a few days before heavy use or contact with soft furnishings. Believed to be safe, once dry, for use on wood which pets, wild animals and birds come into contact or gnaw. • Apply only in dry conditions, above 5 degrees Celsius and when bad weather is not forecast. Application by brush: Stir thoroughly before and during use. Brush on product evenly along the grain. Minimum 2 coats required. Application by spray: Stir thoroughly before pouring contents into a Cuprinol sprayer. Refer to the Sprayer user guide for full instructions before every use. Cover any nearby surfaces in case of overspray. Any overspray should be cleaned up immediately (whilst still wet) with water and household detergent. • Remove product from brush with a cloth and then wash with water. • Don't waste unwanted paint! Leftover product may be taken to a Community RePaint collection point. May produce an allergic reaction. Avoid the inhalation of dust. Wear suitable face mask if dry sanding. Special precautions should be taken during surface preparation of pre-1960s paint surfaces over wood and metal as they may contain harmful lead.
