General Assistant – Marlborough Branch

Salary £25,396.80 plus overtime, bonus and benefits

Hours:

• Basic 40 hours Monday to Friday between 7:30am and 5:00pm
• Saturday mornings every other (1 in 2) 8.00am – 12.00noon
• Stocktake weekend

Responsibilities:

• Greeting and serving customers
• Processing orders and sales on the computer system
• Taking and processing customers telephoned orders
• Monitoring stock levels
• Shop merchandising
• Serve customers quickly and efficiently in the yard
• Loading, unloading and order picking
• Comply with health & safety procedures at all times
• General housekeeping to keep the branch clean and tidy

Requirements:

• Good customer service skills
• Counterbalance forklift licence desirable (training available)
• Knowledge of building products desirable
• Health and Safety awareness
• Self-motivated, ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative
