Working Hours:

• Basic 42.5 hours Monday to Friday from 7:30am to 4:30pm
• Saturday mornings on a rota basis 8:00am to 12:00pm
• Some Bank Holidays
• Stocktake weekend once a year

Your Role:

• Deliveries of building products to local area maintaining customer service standards and ensuring compliance with company procedures and relevant legislation
• Loading and unloading vehicles
• Daily vehicle checks and complying with company procedures and drivers’ regulations
• Complying with health & safety procedures at all times
• Ensuring that the supporting branch and vehicle paperwork is carried out
• Ensuring vehicle is kept clean and tidy
• Moving stock both manually and by the safe operation of mechanical handling equipment

What We're Looking For:

• Class 2 LGV C licence essential
• Driver CPC essential
• Customer service skills essential
• Experience in delivery driving and local knowledge desirable
• Health and safety awareness essential
• Product knowledge desirable
• Able to work from collection and delivery tickets and pick orders
• Able to work as part of a team
