Hours:
- Basic 45 hours Monday to Friday between 7:00am and 4:30pm
- Saturday mornings on a rota basis hours 7.30am to 12.30noon
- Stocktake weekend once a year
- Some Bank Holidays
Your Role:
- Work closely with the branch team to plan, prepare, and batch concrete and screed for collection and delivery, ensuring consistent quality and strength
- Maintain the concrete plant in excellent working order, following health and safety regulations
- Manage stock levels of loose and bagged aggregates
- Serve customers efficiently, ensuring accurate paperwork and high standards of customer service
- Liaise with branch sales staff and oversee a small team of mixer drivers for smooth delivery operations
- Communicate with customers regarding delivery times and updates
- Ensure plant safety through daily, weekly, and monthly checks
What We're Looking For:
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Good literacy and numeracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent organisation and practical skills, including plant maintenance and repair
- Forklift and Telehandler licences (training available)
- Experience in concrete batching (desirable)
