Local builders’ merchant Kellaway Building Supplies has donated materials to the school to enhance their play experience and develop problem solving skills.
Kellaway were able to donate a range of materials for the project including soil pipes, brackets, tubs, tarpaulin & timber for the children to play with and piece together in new and exciting ways.
“Many thanks from all of us here at Frenchay for the items that [Kellaway] gave us. The children have been out today with planks, tubes and guttering making seesaws and dens, and most importantly having a great time learning outdoors. We have been able to gather quite a lot of new resources which will completely change the way that children can learn outside.” Said Deputy Head Jane Helm.
Jane went on to say “we really couldn’t be making such a difference to children’s learning if it wasn’t for the support of companies like Kellaway.”
