Salary:
£34,000 – £38,000, plus bonus and benefits

Responsibilities:
> Meet and exceed branch and personal financial targets by maximising sales and margin.
> Provide outstanding customer service to ensure high levels of satisfaction.
> Close sales and build strong business relationships with customers.
> Liaise with suppliers and branches for special order sales.
> Work with credit control to manage accounts effectively.
> Expand the customer base by identifying and securing new customers.
> Identify new business opportunities by reviewing market and branch opportunities.
> Engage in cold calling, both in person and by phone, to generate new business.
> Prepare quotations for customers, follow up, and convert to orders at the most profitable route.
> Accurately record all sales activity on team software and produce reports on sales activity.
Requirements:
> Good customer service skills
> Knowledge of building materials
> Communication skills
> Sales and negotiating skills
> Persuasive, able to close a deal
> Confident and Enthusiastic
> Self-motivated, with a drive to succeed
Hours:
> Basic 45 hours worked Monday to Friday 7.30am to 5.00pm
> Stocktake weekend once a year
