Yard and Warehouse Operative – Swindon Branch

Salary £25,396.80 plus overtime, bonus and benefits

Hours:

• Basic 40 hours Monday to Friday between 7:30am and 5:00pm
• Saturday mornings every other (1 in 2) 8.00am to 12.00noon - additional £1,269.84 annually in overtime
• Stocktake weekend once a year

Responsibilities:

• Serving customers with general building product
• Order picking for deliveries
• Loading and unloading vehicles
• Stock control, waste management and yard security
• Yard housekeeping and organisation
• Working together with other branch staff to proactively create a safe working environment
• Picking orders and loading company vehicles ready for delivery
• Moving and arranging stock both manually and using mechanical lifting equipment
• Rotating stock and assist with yard merchandising

Requirements:

• Good customer service skills
• Counterbalance forklift licence desirable - training available
• Knowledge of building products desirable
• Ability to work on own initiative or as part of a team
• Health and safety awareness
